Chevening master's scholarship in the UK
The UK Government's scholarship for a one-year master's in the UK, for graduates with work experience.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree.
- At least 2,800 hours of post-graduation work experience (about two years full-time), which can include volunteering and internships.
- A commitment to return to Morocco for at least two years after the degree.
- Applications to three master's courses at UK universities, with an unconditional offer from one of them by the deadline (8 July 2027 for the 2027-2028 round).
What does it cover?
- Tuition fees, paid directly to the university.
- A monthly living stipend (different rates for London and the rest of the UK).
- An economy return flight.
- Arrival and departure allowances, plus a travel top-up allowance.
- The visa application cost.
Dates
The 2027-2028 round opened on 4 August 2026 and closed on 6 October 2026. The next round usually opens in early August, so preparation starts now: work experience, an English certificate and course choices.
