Translating diplomas and transcripts for studying abroad
Universities, credential evaluation services and visa authorities abroad usually require official translations of your diplomas and transcripts.
Documents usually requested
- Baccalaureate diploma and transcripts
- Bachelor's and master's diplomas and transcripts
- Certificates of enrolment and schooling
- Certificates of success and internship certificates
Check the receiving institution's rules
Some universities accept translations sent by the student, while credential evaluation services may require documents sent directly by the issuing institution, or in a specific format. Read their instructions before ordering the translation.
Tips
- Transcripts are translated in full, including the grading scale.
- Names are spelled as in your passport.
- Plan early: apostille and translation times add up before application deadlines.
- I translate documents written in Arabic into English. If your document is in both Arabic and French, mention it when you request your quote.
