Erasmus Mundus master's scholarships
A joint master's run by several European universities, mostly taught in English, with fully funded scholarships open to students from outside Europe, including Moroccan students.
How does it work?
- Students study at two or more universities in different European countries.
- Each master has its own website, requirements and deadlines; you apply directly to the master.
- Scholarships go to the highest-ranked applicants on academic merit, and they are limited.
What does it cover?
- A tuition fee waiver.
- A scholarship of EUR 1,400 per month (example for a 24-month master: up to EUR 33,600).
- Only students who have not already received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship are eligible.
Deadlines
They vary by master, mostly between October and January for scholarship applicants. Example: the MUNDUS MAPP master set its scholarship deadline on 10 December 2025.
Documents and translation
Each master sets its own list, which usually includes the bachelor's degree, transcripts, an English certificate, a motivation letter and recommendation letters. Documents not in English usually need a sworn translation; check the requirements of the master you choose.
Information last checked on 9 October 2026. Dates and requirements can change from year to year. References: official Erasmus Mundus catalogue, example: MUNDUS MAPP master.
