Türkiye Scholarships (Türkiye Bursları)
Scholarships from the Turkish Government to study at Turkish universities, from bachelor's to PhD.
What does it cover?
- University tuition and placement in a university and department.
- A monthly stipend.
- Health insurance.
- Housing.
- A return flight.
Required documents
- National ID card or passport.
- A recent photo.
- National exam results (baccalaureate), if any.
- Diploma or temporary graduation certificate, and transcript.
- International exam or language certificates if the programme requires them.
Translation
According to the ScholarshipUnion guide (an unofficial source), every document not in English or Turkish must have a sworn or sworn translation into one of the two, especially the transcript and diploma. We did not find this rule stated on the official website, so check the application guide when the new round opens.
Dates
Applications go through the official platform. Last round: 10 January to 20 February 2026.
